Catholic girl and a Atheist guy?

My bf and I want to get married one day but I find myself kind of bothered by the fact he's a atheist. I'm somewhat catholic (meaning I believe in God Heaven Satan and Hell but I don't believe god will throw you in hell for breaking a commandment or sinning as long as your sorry and you live a good life you'll go to heaven.) but I don't know maybe it shouldn't bother me because he says he has his beliefs and I have mine and he would never try to change them. He is understanding towards my beliefs but doesn't particularly like talking about it. I don't know will this relationship crumble because of the opposite views or will we be ok?
