Is this line in my song racist at all?

So I was making a rap for my science project, and the line goes, "There's a lesson to be learned here, it's to treat your skin good. If you don't, some homies gonna beat you up in the hood." There's a few black kids in my class, so I'm thinking of changing it. What should I change it to?
