Need to vent.. About my mom. I hate her? Advice?

Try and understand why she says what she says. Maybe shes upset about the slippers because you leave footprints everywhere and that may upset her (it upsets many people). The basketball thing... maybe because she sees you playing video games all the time she tells you to play basketball so you have something to keep you occupied. Yes handball can keep you occupied but basketball is a team sport that has practices and is more of a commitment, which is most likely why she suggests that. Im not trying to side with your mom but maybe try this. Play your xbox or whatever when she is not home to keep you entertained but an hour before she comes home from work try doing one of the chores she asks of you so it looks like your trying to be helpful and she wont notice youve actually been playing xbox all day. Then when she yells dont just start yelling back and complaining or swearing or whatever it is you do. Try to keep your conversations controlled and find a solution. And it sounds like she breaks all your **** because she is under the impression that you only play xbox so she doesnt want that anymore. Thats why you play it when she cant tell and try and do anything else like reading for the hour or two before she gets home.
